Magazine clippings and Posca markers on watercolour pad
This collage piece depicts 3 drag queen characters, one performing onstage, with two gossiping in the foreground. The queens’ clothing is made of food items. The deliciously decorated queens create a commentary on the media’s consumption of drag, and the need felt by some to tone down expressiveness for the sake of being more ‘palatable’ for straight audiences.

Acrylic, pen, magazine, sticker, cardboard, and various other mixed-media on canvas board.
This wild collage piece depicts a walk I took from the intersection of Roscenvalles and Queen in Toronto. Pasted along the edges of the magazine cut-out ‘map’ are various scrawled illustrations of interesting landmarks.
